theasdgamer: “Didn’t you say way back that when you were younger and married, you were crazy at times? Have you ever acted disrespectfully towards your husband, whether due to anger or whatever?”

Yes, during the honeymoon and the first couple of months we were married I went on the pill. I was yelling and throwing things because I was so crazy. He threw the pills in the trash and said there was no point because we weren’t having sex anyway. If I had stayed like that, the marriage would have ended in less than 6 months. It’s not the kind of thing he would ever tolerate, nor should he.

When I read something like this: “IMO you must totally disrespect them. At the same time you must give them an out. I have always told her, “Find a better man – for you – if you can.”

I’m interpreting this to mean “you must treat them like shit. But give them an out and say if you can find someone better…go for it”.

I can say with a great deal of certainty that wouldn’t work for me.

“The problem is most men want a woman but they don’t like women. We can tell. Men who genuinely like women – as opposed to wanting sex, a housekeeper, a zygote incubator or desiring to control them – tend to be popular with women. ”
